Pack of 10 x 203 Shelf CapsPack of 10 x 203 Shelf Caps

20" Linen style shelving is perfect for storing larger items in a Linen/Utility closet.
This depth of shelf works best when installed with ShelfTrack fixings.

  • Works with both ShelfTrack & Fixed Mount systems.
We strongly recommend using ShelfTrack with this depth of shelf as it will prevent the shelving from sagging/bowing in the middle
  • Installation hardware sold separately
  • Available in four standard lengths (choose from list above)
  • Shelving can be cut for a customised length with a hacksaw or boltcutters
  • Order 10 x 203 Shelf End Caps per shelf to cover the ends of the shelf. This will prevent damage to your walls upon installation & prevent your possessions from snagging on the shelf
  • Ventilated wire construction
  • We suggest that when installing 20" deep shelving you ensure your enclosure is a minimum of 22" (56cm) deep to allow for the hardware fixings
  • You CANNOT add a hang bar to this depth shelf. The lateral wires are spaced differently to the 12" & 16" deep shelves & therefore will NOT accommodate hang bar supports
  • NEW 'Low Profile' style lip at front of shelf
  • Material: Vinyl coated steel
  • All shelving SCS® Certified for minimum of 91% recycled content

Don't forget to order the fixing hardware and Shelf Caps!

20 garage shelf
02 March 2017  |

I've used ClosetMaid shelving before so when I needed a large, wide 8 foot shelf, in my garage the 20" width version was the obvious choice. The shelf was secured on a wall one side, but was open on the other end. I was supplied with a 20" version on the supporting bar for the open end, but at the suggestion of the OMH design team it was supported along its length by 12 inch supports. My 8 foot shelf required 3 x 12" supports plus the 1 x large one for the open end. This configuration is more than adequate to store some large and heavy items I needed up and out of the way. I have a very large 80L mixing tub, which itself holds several other tubs inside, sitting on the shelf without any problem. I guess the more struts you use the stronger the shelf will be, or you could just use the 20" supports which would make it even stronger, but in my experience this would seem unneccesary. Excellent product, highly recommended. As I've mentioned in an early review, cutting with a hacksaw or bolt croppers is possible, it's laborious and not easy, so buy yourself a Black & Decker scorpion saw (or similar) fit the metal cutting blade and it cuts through the wires accurately and like a knife through butter, saving you lots of time and effort.

Revamping Airing Cupboard

Had a new Boiler put in and needed shelving, as I had used ClosetMaid before with a walk in wardrobe in the early 1990’s.
